One of the greatest danger of homelessness is the stress it places on the body. The men and women of the streets do not, eat well, sleep well or heal well. The body often cannot handle the stress of the streets, and without proper medical care, the homeless are often high utilizers of the emergency department services.

The Recuperative Care Housing section of Cornerstone/Kings Gospel Mission is there to reduce that stress and provide a soft landing after a hospital stay. During this time, folks heal and we work together to find lasting solutions in a supportive environment.

Kings Gospel Mission provides safe, secure room & board housing in a supportive environment for those in recovery from homelessness. We assist men and women in the maintenance of a healthy, chemical-free lifestyle lending support, encouragement and accountability with a healthy community of caring people. Our Recuperative Care Housing is a place where men and women can find resources to help them back on their feet and stay healthy.
